BHQ-10 Carboxylic Acid（BHQ-10羧酸）
BHQ®-10 is a water soluble dark quencher that can be activated and coupled to nucleophilic groups such as the amines on proteins and peptides. It has been formulated to provide water solubility and reduced non-specific binding interactions with proteins. As a result of fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET), BHQ-10 is expected to quench fluorophores that have emission maxima close to 516 nm, such as fluorescein (FITC is fluorescein isothiocyanate).

Additional Spectroscopic Data: The absorption maximum of BHQ-10 is somewhat sensitive to changes in pH: 517 nm in carbonate bicarbonte buffer, pH 8.5 516 nm in PBS, pH 7.0 510 nm when conjugated to BSA in PBS, pH 7.0 Product Solubility: This product is soluble in DMF, DMSO and water. Product Stability Reducing agents that are commonly used to reduce dithiol bonds in proteins, such as DTT and TCEP, will also reduce BHQ-10 thereby causing a loss of color and of quenching efficiency.
