本标准规定了配线系统元件的分类。根据配线系统的能力分为：

 

（a）在着火条件下保持电路完整性规定的时间；

（b）保持电路完整性，以防止出现指定严重程度的机械损坏。

 耐火测试

电缆放在电缆架上，然后悬吊在一个混凝土楼板下面，面对火源燃烧120分钟。在此过程中，

电缆是通电的，需要监测电路的回路通畅与否。紧接着，样板又会安装到喷淋设备上，喷水

3分钟，也需要监测电路是否通畅。

 

冲击切割测试

电缆被设定在三种不同的温度环境下进行撞击测试，需要监控电路是否通畅。使用专用刀具进行逐步加压切割测试，记录切断电路的最大力量。
