冷轧钢板字面意思是冷加工，热轧钢板是热加工，结晶的温度不一样。冷轧钢板在结晶温度以下，而热轧钢板需要在结晶温度以上压制。

冷轧钢和热轧钢区别不在冶炼过程，而是在于轧钢温度，或者说轧钢终止温度。终轧温度低于钢材再结晶温度的就成为冷轧钢。热轧钢容易轧制，

轧钢效率高，但是热轧条件下钢材氧化，产品表面是黑灰暗淡的。冷轧钢要求轧机功率大，轧制效率低，

而且轧制过程中为了能消除加工硬化还要进行中间退火，所以成本也较高，但是冷轧钢表面光亮，质量好，可以直接用来加工成品，

因此冷轧钢板应用十分广泛。
