Treatment of half filled and half excavated Subgrade

When the embankment is built on a slope with a natural slope greater than 1:5, steps should be excavated at the bottom of the embankment. When the width of the steps is not less than 1 m, the steps should be excavated at the joint of the filling slope of the new and old subgrade. The width of the steps of the high-grade highway is generally 2 m. The geocell is laid on the horizontal surface of each step, and the vertical side limit of the geocell is used to reinforce the effect, which solves the problem of uneven settlement.
